Precyne is a DAW software which combines tracker style sequencing with modern song arrangement tools. It has been designed to work with music studio hardware instead of trying to replace it.

Tracker with linear timeline arrangement

Unlike traditional trackers, Precyne gives you a proper timeline view of your song for arranging and editing your MIDI clips. You can also dedicate MIDI clips for automating MIDI CC's. This enables you to arrange song automations separately from your played notes.

Clip launcher

With clip launcher you can easily try out different song structure ideas and record them into the timeline view for a full song. All in realtime.

Audio routing and recording

Unlike most software on the market, all your audio interface's channels are treated more like physical channels and busses found on high end analog mixing consoles used in professional studios. You can now easily route your hardware instruments between different chains of hardware effects units or switch audio sources between multiple hardware samplers, all with a single button press.

Also included is audio recording into files. Arm audio channels for recording and hit the record button to stream those channels into audio files.

You can choose if you want the sequencer not start the playback while you record audio. This feature is for all those frequently occurring situations when you want to play with your keyboards for minutes or even hours, multitrack recording everything without the need to dedicate a new project or parts of your current project for long audio takes. Great for jotting down your creative ideas during the project!

Precyne 1.4 now includes software mix channels and VST3 and AU plugin effect support on every channel.
